]]>I feel sorry for those that office with me. For those that know me coffee is an everyday, multiple times a day, ADDICTION! Well, during this season of lent I am giving it up. I'm making a commitment over the next forty days to fast something and join with others on this journey of Lent, leading up too Easter. I'm excited to loose some of the "weights" I have grown comfortable with, but most of all look forward to creating some space so I can be with God.

So, Im attending a Gurus conference this week. A gathering of church media/tech people from all over that are interested in learning more about the gear we use and connecting with others that know more than we do. In most cases those of us involved in the "tech" side of ministry don't get to come out of our caves very often.

So I finally signed up for a free month with netflix and although their streaming library isn't huge, the ability to have a queue of videos that arrive at my doorstop is a pretty cool deal.

So we are wrapping up "The Family Works" series at Palm Valley, and I have to say the thought of a family series seems somewhat light and fluffy but WOW from week to week the spiritual intensity level of the services has been amazing. Im not going to preach the series, you can go here for that. I do want to highlight this weekend though.
